Howl-O-Ween Pet Portraits – 2011 | Thomasville Photographer

Hi blog Peeps.. Ok so Halloween 2011 is gone and over, but we have something extra special to share with you on the blog. It’s the annual “Howl-O-Ween” event at the City dog park and yes we did – we setup shop and did Pet Portraits for the community, if you attended you know the was “FREE” yes, if you atteneded, you were able to capture a great image of you or maybe it was just your precious doggie’s picture, but let me tell you – I had small, medium and large and in some case – they were EXTRA Large dogs, but they were all just beautiful and I was able to capture lots of smiles that day. it was very fun and certainly my pleasure and not only did they get their portrait made, but what else – each doggie dressed up in their Halloween costume at that! Now, talk about adorable – OMG – there were some and just blew me away.. but anyway – I’ll let you be the judge of it.. so take a look and see what we did for “Howl-O-Ween – Pet Portraits… Cheers ~ Tina

Thomasville Georgia Wedding: Renee + Timothy

Hi Blog Peeps ~ Recently Timothy and Renee had a wedding renewal after 16 yrs of being married already. As I listened closely to the pastor, the pastor was revisiting memory lane when they were teenagers coming to youth activities, pizza night, and all the years that have fallen in between Timothy & Renee life leading up to this one special day as they stood before God, the pastor and their family and friends. Timothy & Renee the lovely couple went straight down to the clerk of court and got married and signed their marriage certificate and that was that 16 yrs ago. When the pastor said this, I was floored, I thought all along they had a wedding and they just wanted to renew their vows. When Renee approached me about what she was doing, I thought it was magnificent idea, for something she and Timothy never had, “A Wedding” and after all these years, I thought they did! but years later…who knew they could create a special day all over again? And indeed it was accomplished and it was special. There was something special about their day that just made it much brighter to me, just know you didn’t have a wedding before and now your dream had come true, the man of your life, the dress, the church, the flowers, the shoes & so on.. Or maybe because they were surrounded by all the special people they love in their lives like their 3 kids, their proud parents, their family members and their friends that they didn’t have 16 yrs ago, but today they took the show and recapture that one special day they had always hoped for and a fabulous wedding renewal as took place on this day. Two more days with Jasmine Star..

Hi folks.. well I wanted to share another story that I had with Jasmine Star over the weekend. AGAIN this was my 2nd time that I could spend 2 days with Jasmine Star online thru the wonderful talented group called “Creative Live” Chase Jarvis and his crew are exceptionally talent and just an awesome group – super-duper talent so Kudos to them.. and to bring back Jasmine Star again? it’s a awesome combination and seriously when do you have the chance to spend it with Jasmine Star? She’s incredible! she is so whole hearted and sincere and can just grab you right thru the core of your heart. She comes from a loving family who supports her thru thick and thin. She is definitely a mentor with me and my photography. I love her style, her grace, she is incredibility beautiful, talented and can shot any wedding that would blow you away. I love it.. after this weekend I did a lot of thinking that Jasmine Star talked about and I find myself in so many categories like Jasmine has and everything I learned this weekend, I’m gonna put in play. I find myself in so many situations as Jasmine did when she first started out and I’m glad to know that someone such as Jasmine Star went thru a bumpy road along the way. Sometimes you think people have all the money in the world and can show case it like it’s been giving to them on a silver platter or they like to just rub in your face kind of people, but after watching Jasmine Star for 2days I ended up with like 12 pages of notes.. So my list has grown with my “TO-DO” list and I have a list to accomplish. I’ll have to start it easy and start going with the flow. Thanks Jasmine for a dose of reality of the wedding business and Thank you a million times for coming back. We love you and we hope to continue to see more of you on “Creative Live” ~ Cheers, Tina -

It’s Gonna Get Busy!!!

Hi Blog peeps ~ well yesterday was pretty exciting, the UPS fairy left me an awesome package yesterday… and it looks like someone is gonna be busy, busy, busy… Yep, 300 “Save the Date” magnets arrived for M.E. & Zack’s upcoming wedding date and how exciting it was to open the box to find SUCH an awesome creation we did. It was exciting to see my picture on a product and I was totoally stoked for them.. As soon as I opened the package – “Hello M.E” they are here baby”!!!! and she arrived with in 5 min and she loves them.. so be looking out for your “Save the Date Magnet” from M.E. & Zack – Cheers ~ Tina

Hi blog peeps – well, well, well, I finally just decided to bite the bullet and jump on board with this website thing. I will soon launch a new totally redesigned website for “Simply Elegant Photography” and I’ve updated my blog site – WOW talk about an accomplishment. With working all the time and photography has really kicked in for me websites/updates – were just beyond my time control, but I decided to find someone to help me and WOOLA! so all I can say for now.. is I’ll be twickting it, and twickting it until I have it just how I want.. so bare with me.. if you see some snags – just hang in there ok.. Hi Blog peeps.. every time I see wildflowers in a field somewhere, I tend to think of that country song – “Pickin Wildflowes” by Keith Anderson.. It’s just that line about picking wildflowers that catches me and when I got three georgous girls in a wild flower patch, well let’s just say they made it their own deal. With a short time frame to capture some quick images of “A”, Kaycee and Taylor we got’em… they were super troupers. I think once we started they wanted to go and go and go.. but we ended up in a nice field of wildflowers so with that said – here’s some cute, cute pictures of their quick session just jumping around and having a great time. Hi Blog Peeps~ let’s welcome to you a beautiful Family, Tiffany and her hubby wanted to get some family portraits made so we did just that! We recently took care of her maternity session and now onto the family session. Kinley (their daughter) was such a cutie pie, when she first got the to studio she was a little shy, but certainly warmed up by the time the end of the session came around. She was a active little girl but just needed to warm up a bit. She danced, she sang to us.. she just had a blast! A Marine and A Bride… Married

Hello Blog peeps ~ This past Monday I had the privilege to be a part of a very special day with a Marine and a beautiful bride. Corporal Leo Angel and his lovely bride Alisha got married at Cherokee Lake on a beautiful sunny day. The weather was perfect and you couldn’t have asked for a better day than this. Alisha and Corporal Leo Angel are expecting their beautiful baby boy in July of this year. Corporal Angel volunteered to go back into the Marines which sadly he is leaving today to go on another duty call, but when duty calls you go and do what you need to. Corporal Angel told me he was coming back in the winter and he couldn’t wait to see his new bundle of joy when he comes back they plan on taking their first family vacation to the mountains, he will miss the birth of his baby boy in July while serving our country. I was amazed at the number of people that would just stopped Corporal Angel just to stay “Thank You” for everything he has done for us and our country. It was truly an honor to have spent some time with them on their wedding day and I want to personally Thank you as well for serving our country and for everything you’ve done. So here are some awesome photos from Corporal Angel and Alisha’s wedding. Can’t wait to hear the news when you come back home and your new baby boy has arrived! Be Safe and hurry back home because you have a beautiful family waiting for you when you return. As the Marines say… HOO-RAH!! enjoy their photos… Tina.

Tutu’s & Pearls

Hi blog world.. recently I was able to shoot in studio two totally cute little girls who their “Gigi” wanted some adorable shots with Tutu’s & Pearls.. These two little girls were so much excitement and full of energy and ready to go with a fun photo shoot.. We had a great time playing around with their cute tutu’s and “Gigi” brought so many pearls I was even amazed at them! After we really got into our session one of the little girls was getting just darn tired.. think we may have overworked and over played with the little one.. but anyway I wanted to share some cute, cute, cute pictures from their session.. hope you enjoy and as always – Cheers!!
